One of the most increasing phenomena regarding minors is modeling. It can be considered a display of the physical features, visual beauty and cognitive abilities of minors, which in many cases is accompanied by exaggeration and exaggeration. Modeling, in addition to the benefits it may have for minors, also entails significant harm for them, we can speak of negative modeling. The negative aspect of modeling by minors can greatly prepare the ground for their physical and psychological-emotional victimization. In the present study, in the light of some real data, the contexts and types of victimization resulting from negative modeling for minors have been studied, and the approach of Iran's criminal regulations towards negative modeling has been analyzed. Despite the lack of a specific, differentiated approach to the prohibition of negative modeling of minors in current Iranian laws, it can be included under the heading of “risky situation” in the Protection of Children and Adolescents Act and minors engaged in this type of modeling are considered worthy of the protections provided for in this Act. Nevertheless, it seems necessary to clarify the prohibition of negative modeling of minors and to determine effective penalties for this behavior in the Iranian legal system.
