This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between infertility stress and social support with post-traumatic growth, considering the role of resilience mediation in infertile couples in Mahabad city.The method of this research was descriptive-correlation using structural equation modeling. The statistical population of this research included all infertile couples who referred to the infertility centers of Mahabad city in the winter of 2022, and 140 eligible people were selected from the sexual impotence and infertility clinics of Mahabad city through targeted sampling. The tools used are post-traumatic growth questionnaires - Tedeschi and Calhoun (1996); Infertility stress Newton et al (1999); Social support was by Zemen et al (1988) and resilience by Connor and Davidson (2003). The findings showed that according to the direct and indirect coefficients and the Sobel resilience test, it did not play a mediating role in the relationship between infertility stress and post-traumatic growth of infertile couples. But resilience was able to play a mediating role in the relationship between social support and post-traumatic growth of infertile couples. These findings have significant implications for practice and clinical research that may provide guidance for professional counseling and psychological interventions for couples experiencing infertility.
