Abstract

The effective participation of family in responding to the delinquency of children and adolescents is an important step that improves the process of rehabilitation .Because it has a great impact on children by its own functions, especially socializing and exercising social control. Nevertheless, the evaluation of legislative and judicial criminal policy indicates that this strategy has not been properly considered. This issue is rooted in the fact that smoothing family participation is a complicated and difficult path. The main problem of this research is finding solutions that will lead to increasing the quantity of family participation or improving its quality in the rehabilitation model. The findings of the research indicate that the use of solutions such as determining the format of family participation in providing rehabilitation responses, paying attention to the role of the family in different dimensions of rehabilitation, predicting participation in different stages of rehabilitation and during criminal proceedings, and even after that, increases the possibility of family participation. The use of paralegal experts in the field of legislation and justice, emphasis on the necessity of training and empowering the family are solutions that improve the qualitative process of family participation.
