Perceived stigma and severity of diagnostic signs (autism quotient) are founded as main sources of stress that may explain increased problems in parent's mental health. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impacts of perceived stigma, child's autism quotient, and age on the mental health of mothers of children with ASD. As such, 94 mothers whose children had been educated in Special center for education and rehabilitation for autistic children in Isfahan and Shahrekord completed General Health Questionnaire (GHQ), Perceived Stigma Questionnaire developed by researchers, Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS). Structural equation model was used to analyze the data by Amos Graphic-18. It was found that perceived stigma had direct significant effect, and child's autism quotient and age had indirect significant effect mediated by perceived stigma on mothers' mental health and this model explains 70% of variance of mother's mental health predicted by perceived stigma in mothers. According to the findings of this study, to promote mental health in mothers with autism children, educational programs are in need that will empower mothers of children with ASD against stigma. مراقبت از کودک اتیسم طاقت‌فرسا است و استرس زیادی برای والدین ایجاد می‌کند. یکی از منابع مهم استرس که سهم قابل ملاحظه‌ای در پایین آوردن سلامت روان دارد، شدت علائم اتیسم (اتیسم بهر) و احساس استیگما است. هدف از تحقیق حاضر، بررسی تأثیر احساس استیگما، سن و اتیسم بهر کودک در سلامت روان مادران با کودکان دارای اختلالات طیف اتیسم (ASD) بود. 94 تن از مادران کودکان اتیسمی که در مراکز آموزشی و توانبخشی ویژه کودکان اتیسم آموزش می‌دیدند. پرسش‌نـامه‌های سلامـت روانـی عمومـی (GHQ)، احساس استیگما که توسط محققان تهیه و هنجاریابی شد و مقیـاس درجـه‌بندی اتیسم گیلیام (GARS) را پر کردند. مدل معادله ساختاری برای تحلیل داده‌ها استفاده شد. نتایج نشان داد که احساس استیگما تأثیر مستقیم و اتیسم بهر و سن کودک تأثیر غیرمستقیم به واسطه احساس استیگما بر سلامت روان مادران داشت. بر اساس این مدل 70% تغییرات فردی در سلامت روان مادران را می‌توان بر اساس احساس استیگما پیش‌بینی کرد. طبق یافته‌های این تحقیق، به منظور بالا بردن سطح سلامت روان مادران کودکان اتیسم، برنامه‌های آموزشی برای قدرتمندسازی در برابر استیگما به شدت توصیه می‌شود. https://jfr.sbu.ac.ir/article_96407_2a41a58dd4accaabad4af8fabc718c98.pdf
