It also offers the possibility of their regulated and limited presence in society while serving their punishment. Employing a descriptive-analytical method, this article aims to analyze the effects of electronic monitoring of parents on children's personality development and the continuity of criminals' family lives. According to the study's findings, electronic monitoring can serve as a family-oriented judicial decision. It represents a more advanced implementation of the principle of personalization of criminal responses and confines the punishment's side effects to the offender. Because electronic monitoring is associated with considering the offender's personality, capacity, responsibility, and role in the family, it can provide a foundation for the performance of their normal family functions and respect for the rights of other family members. Ideally, it can result in family self-sufficiency, healthy personality development of children, and the continuity of family life. In cases where the offender under electronic monitoring is far removed from their family, it can protect the family from potential inappropriate behaviors of the offender and provide a foundation for suitable interaction between them and family members in the future. مراقبت الکترونیک با بهره‌گیری از سیستم موقعیت‌یاب جهانی (GPS) ضمن کنترل‌ازراه‌دور بزهکاران، امکان حضور نظام‌مند و محدود ایشان در جامعه، در دوران تحمل کیفر را فراهم می‌سازد. مقالۀ حاضر با کاربست روش توصیفی ـ تحلیلی، آثار حکم مراقبت الکترونیک علیه پدر/مادر را بر جریان رشد شخصیتی کودکان و تداوم زندگی خانوادگی بزهکاران بررسی نموده است. برابر یافته‌های این مقاله، با لحاظ مصالح خانوادۀ محکوم، مراقبت الکترونیک می‌تواند یک تصمیم قضایی خانواده‌محور و بسترساز رعایت صورت تکامل‌یافته‌تری از اصل شخصی‌بودن اجرای مجازات‌ها و فردی‌کردن پاسخ‌های کیفری باشد. ضمناً درنظرگرفتن شخصیت بزهکار، نقش او در خانواده، میزان توانمندی و مسئولیت‌پذیری او طی مراقبت الکترونیک می‌تواند زمینه‌ساز ایفای کارکردهای مرتبط با نقش او توسط خودش و رعایت حقوق سایر اعضای خانواده شود. مراقبت الکترونیکی در بهترین حالت ممکن، ضمن حفظ خودکفایی خانواده، رشد سالم شخصیتی کودکان و تداوم زندگی خانوادگی را رقم می‌زند. در فرضی که محل تحمل دوران مراقبت الکترونیک از سکونتگاه خانواده جداست نیز می‌تواند ضمن دور نگه‌داشتن بزهکار از معایب همنشینی با بزهکاران در زندان، خانواده را از رفتارهای احتمالی نامناسب بزهکار دور نگه دارد و زمینه‌ساز تعامل مناسب بزهکار با اعضای خانواده در آینده شود. https://jfr.sbu.ac.ir/article_104539_e18394e7872bda1f4885e38e79785b48.pdf
